John is a  real estate sales agent who has helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes. In 2000 he received the Salesman of the Year award given by the Austin Board of Realtors. He is a principal in Stanberry & Associates Real Estate Company which has five offices in central Texas. He has served the real estate community in many ways including Chairman of the Austin Board of Realtors in 2006, teaching real estate classes in ethics, sales, marketing. He was recognized for work in Hurricane Rita relief and inducted into the Realtor honorary fraternity Omega Tau Rho.
